dear sir or madam, i understand. i used to be on the 'having' side of money. now i am the post above,,, from phoenixchief, i spent 127000.00 on attorneys to win rights of custody for my 8 yr old daughter, who turns 18 next week. after partially winning rights, i became disabled for several reasons and lost my high paying career and all my savings, yet prior i always gave to those with the signs on street corners, most times knowing i was being ripped off. but god knows how to forgive and our act of help , if it helped one, makes up for the scams that piss all legitamate philanthropists off. so any how, for 6 years i spent my life savings taking my now ready to turn 18 daughter, her school girlfriend, my fiance, myself, to nearly every great park and educational nook and crannny in the us from bar harbor maine, key west, hershey pa, laguna/huntington beach cali, tombstone az, joshua tree, northern michigan snow skiing, and many more. then i became permanently disabled. From fully loaded 401K's and income, to $40.00 left to my name. so,,,,,,, my 18 year old to be......, really wanted one special gift.... a party with her girlfriends, and mom and dad, at a waterpark hotel near sandusky ohio, AND I CANT DO IT. i cant even buy her a real present. a 4.0 student, i gave her all i could, carefree spending on her friends who were financially challenged, gave a fiance, a daughter, and myself the most grateful 6 years of 4 weeks each summer, something she and her friends will never forget. but i have sheltered her from knowing, i am broke, now disabled, and the grand finale, her becoming adult cant pay it. and my teeth are x treme problems. so remember, we can all end up carrying the "will work for food" sign be glad your kindness has impacted all you have helped, even the deceivers. with true admiration, phoenixchief, toothless
